Swept janitorial software pricing and what each plan includes

Swept janitorial software costs from 30 USD a month on Launch, from 150 USD on Optimize and from 225 USD on Scale, priced by how many cleaning locations you manage rather than by user. The starting prices cover the first location band of up to 15 sites, and paying for a longer term saves 20 percent. Swept runs crews you already have; it does not bring new contracts or price bids.

Price the next building before you buy software to run it

Swept starts paying for itself once you have buildings to schedule. If you are still filling your route, price the contracts you are chasing first. Enter the cleanable square footage, the facility type, the visits per week and your state, and the estimator returns labor hours per visit, crew size and a monthly price range with supplies, overhead and margin on separate lines. No account needed.

Swept plans and prices at a glance

We read Swept's own pricing page in October 2026. Prices are the published starting points; your quote depends on the location band and billing term you pick.

Plan Starting price What it adds Best for
Launch From 30 USD a month Scheduling and time tracking, payroll reporting with export, translation into 100+ languages, Spanish mobile app, no-show and late alerts Owner-operators who need cleaners to clock in and payroll to add up
Optimize From 150 USD a month Everything in Launch plus inspections, geofenced timekeeping, mandatory break compliance and location-based messaging Companies that sell on quality and need proof of inspections
Scale From 225 USD a month Everything in Optimize plus travel time, checklists, profitability reporting, supply requests, client portal, client messaging and work orders Multi-building operators with account managers and demanding clients

Billing is by location band: you choose a band such as 1 to 15, 16 to 25 or 26 to 30 locations and pay the same price for any number of sites inside it. Swept says plans start at 15 locations, so a company with three buildings pays the same entry price as one with fifteen.

What you actually get for the money

Launch is a time clock with a scheduling layer. Cleaners see their sites in a mobile app (in Spanish or with automatic translation), clock in on site, and you get alerts when someone is late or does not show up. Payroll reporting exports the hours, which is the part most owners buy it for: it replaces paper timesheets and the Friday argument about who worked what.

Optimize adds the quality side. Inspections let a supervisor score a building with photos, geofences stop people clocking in from the parking lot of the wrong site, and break compliance helps in states with mandatory meal and rest breaks. If your clients ask for inspection reports at the quarterly review, this is the tier that produces them.

Scale turns Swept into a client-facing system. A client portal and client messaging let the facility manager raise issues directly, work orders handle one-time cleanings, supply requests run through the app, and profitability reporting shows which buildings make money. Travel time matters once crews move between several sites a night.

What Swept pricing does not include

Swept is operations software for contracts you already hold. On its plan comparison there is no bidding module, no proposal builder and no lead source. Swept offers a separate job costing calculator outside the paid plans, but it does not send proposals or find buildings.

Two smaller points to check before you sign. First, the published numbers are starting prices, so ask for the exact figure for your band and term in writing. Second, the GetApp listing for Swept mentions a 250 USD setup fee that Swept's own pricing page does not show, so ask whether onboarding is billed and whether it is waived on annual terms. Swept also does not list a free plan.

If you also need to train and certify new cleaners on chemicals, safety and site procedures, that sits outside Swept too; a corporate LMS to onboard and certify staff covers it without stretching your scheduling tool.

Swept pricing compared with other janitorial software

Owners rarely compare Swept with one tool. They compare it with whatever solves their biggest problem this quarter. These are published prices we checked on each vendor's own site in September and October 2026.

Tool Published price Main job Bidding and proposals Brings new contracts
Swept From 30, 150 or 225 USD a month by location band Scheduling, time clock, inspections, client portal No, separate job costing calculator only No
CleanGuru Basic 79, Guru 129, Guru Plus 159 USD a month Bidding, invoicing, scheduling, inspections Yes No
Janitorial Manager Quote based, from 1,000 USD a month Full operations platform Yes No
CleanlyRun 24.95 USD a month Bid tool Yes, unlimited bids No
Janitorial Starter 79 USD a month or 468 USD a year Contract request feed, AI bid pricing, proposals Yes Yes

For the bidding tools in detail, see our janitorial bidding software comparison. If Janitorial Manager's quote is the one on your desk, the Janitorial Manager alternative page sets the two side by side, and the CleanGuru alternative page does the same for CleanGuru.

Is Swept worth it for a small cleaning company?

Swept is worth it once your problem is managing people across buildings, not winning buildings. With five or more recurring sites, Launch at about 30 USD a month usually pays for itself in payroll hours you stop arguing about. Below that, the money does more work spent on getting contracts.

A simple way to decide:

  • Fewer than five recurring buildings. Spend on contracts first. An 8,000 sq ft office cleaned five nights a week bills about 1,700 to 2,000 USD a month in Texas, and that pays for any software later.
  • Five to fifteen buildings with timesheet problems. Launch covers it. Upgrade only when a client asks for inspection reports.
  • Fifteen or more buildings or clients who want a portal. Optimize or Scale, and ask for the price at your exact location band and an annual term.
  • Bidding several buildings a month. Pair an operations tool with a bidding tool, because Swept will not write the proposal.

Where Janitorial fits next to Swept

Janitorial does the part before Swept starts. Offices, medical offices, schools, retail sites, bank branches, churches and property managers post their cleaning jobs, and each request reaches the cleaning companies whose service area and facility types match it, already priced by AI from square footage, frequency and local labor cost. You bid from the same screen and send a proposal with your logo that evening. Starter is 79 USD a month for one service area. When the contract is signed, run the crew in whatever operations tool you like, Swept included. If you want to see what the requests look like, browse commercial cleaning contracts or check how the commercial cleaning calculator builds a price from labor hours.

Swept pricing, common questions

How much does Swept cost per month?

Swept starts at 30 USD a month on Launch, 150 USD on Optimize and 225 USD on Scale. Each price covers a band of locations, starting with up to 15, and rises when you move into a larger band. Committing to a longer term saves 20 percent, according to Swept's pricing page.

Does Swept charge per user?

No. Swept prices by the number of locations you manage, in bands such as 1 to 15 or 16 to 25 locations, and you pay the same within a band. Adding cleaners does not change the price, which suits janitorial companies with high crew turnover.

Does Swept have a free trial or free plan?

Swept does not list a free plan on its pricing page, and the page does not describe a self-service trial. The usual path is a demo with their team. Ask during the demo whether onboarding or setup is billed, since one directory lists a 250 USD setup fee.

Does Swept do bidding and proposals?

No. Swept's plans cover scheduling, time tracking, inspections, communication, supplies and work orders. It offers a separate job costing calculator, but no proposal builder or bid workflow. Companies that bid often pair it with a bidding tool such as CleanGuru or with Janitorial.

What is a good alternative to Swept for a small cleaning company?

It depends on the gap. For bidding and invoicing in one tool, CleanGuru from 79 USD a month. For a cheap bid tool, CleanlyRun at 24.95 USD. If the real problem is not enough buildings, Janitorial at 79 USD a month sends priced contract requests from your area.
