FindRFP pricing for cleaning companies and whether it is worth it

FindRFP costs 19.95 USD a month for the Regional plan, which covers up to four states, and 29.95 USD a month for the National plan, which covers every state and Canada. Paid yearly, they cost 199.50 USD and 299.50 USD, so two months come free. It is one of the cheapest government bid alert services a janitorial company can buy, and it sends public notices only, so it does not price a bid or bring private accounts.

Price a custodial bid from any FindRFP alert

A cheap alert service still costs estimator time, because every notice has to be read, walked and priced. Take the square footage, facility type and nights per week from a custodial solicitation, enter them, and the estimator returns labor hours per visit, crew size and a monthly price range with supplies, overhead and margin on separate lines. Run the next five FindRFP notices through it and you will know in ten minutes which ones deserve a walkthrough.

FindRFP pricing in short

Cleaning company owner highlighting printed public bid notices at her office desk

We read the FindRFP plans page and FAQ in October 2026. FindRFP publishes its prices, so the numbers below are the vendor's own.

  • Two individual plans: Regional at 19.95 USD a month for up to four states, and National at 29.95 USD a month for all US states and Canadian provinces.
  • Annual billing gives 12 months for the price of 10: 199.50 USD a year for Regional and 299.50 USD for National.
  • Every plan includes unlimited search of the bid database, daily email notifications matched to your keywords and states, and customer support.
  • Group plans for trade associations that open more than five accounts at once are priced on request.
  • New subscribers get a one-week trial with full access, but it starts only after you give a card or send a check, and the card is charged when the week ends unless you cancel.
  • Cancel online at any time, but there is no partial refund for the unused part of a paid term.

How much does FindRFP cost?

FindRFP costs 19.95 USD a month for the Regional plan, covering up to four states, and 29.95 USD a month for the National plan, covering all US states and Canada. Annual plans cost 199.50 USD and 299.50 USD a year, the price of ten months. Group pricing for associations is quoted on request.

Does FindRFP have a free trial?

Yes, a one-week trial with full access to the database and daily alerts. The catch is that the trial starts only after you enter a credit card or send a check, and FindRFP charges the card automatically when the week ends. If the alerts are not useful, cancel inside the week from My Account, under Account Profile, and nothing is charged.

Use the trial week properly. Set narrow keywords on the first day, such as janitorial, custodial, cleaning services, floor care and window cleaning, and pick only the states your crews can reach. FindRFP's FAQ says 2,000 to 5,000 new government opportunities appear each day across all industries, so a loose profile fills the inbox with HVAC, landscaping and pest control. By day five you should know how many custodial notices a week your area really produces.

What FindRFP costs per contract you win

The subscription is the smallest cost in public bidding. A custodial proposal takes 10 to 40 hours of walkthroughs, wage math, staffing plans and forms, so the question is how many bids your company can prepare, not how cheap the alerts are.

Public bids submitted per year Planning win rate Contracts won Regional annual cost per win (199.50 USD) National annual cost per win (299.50 USD)
6 1 in 10 0 to 1 199.50 USD or more 299.50 USD or more
12 1 in 8 1 to 2 100 to 200 USD 150 to 300 USD
24 1 in 6 4 about 50 USD about 75 USD
48 1 in 5 9 to 10 about 21 USD about 31 USD

The win rates are planning assumptions for a company new to public work, not FindRFP data. Even at the worst row, one won school or county building pays for decades of the subscription. If your bids lose, the cause is pricing or paperwork, not the alert service.

Is FindRFP worth it for a cleaning company?

FindRFP is worth it for a cleaning company that wants public custodial bids and will submit at least one a month, because a year costs less than one night of a typical commercial account. It is less useful if most of your target buyers already post on portals you watch, such as your state portal and SAM.gov, or if you want private offices and clinics.

What FindRFP does and does not do for janitorial work

FindRFP searches federal, state, county, city, school, university, hospital and airport procurement sites every day and emails the notices that match your keywords and states. It has a Janitorial, Cleaning category with Janitorial and Custodial Services, Building Maintenance, Waste Removal and Recycling, and Property Management, and you can add your own procurement web addresses if a local buyer is missing.

What it does not do matters just as much for a cleaning company:

  • It lists public notices only. Private office buildings, medical practices, gyms and property managers do not post there, and for most janitorial companies that private work is the bigger share of revenue.
  • It does not price anything. You still read the solicitation, find the square footage, walk the building and build the labor math yourself.
  • It does not filter by facility type or size. A 300,000 sq ft hospital and a 2,000 sq ft library branch arrive in the same email, so your estimator does the sorting.
  • It sends a daily email digest. There is no instant alert, which rarely matters for public bids that stay open for two to four weeks.

Once a notice is worth bidding, the response package is the slow part. A proposal tool can turn the RFP into a finished proposal draft, and our commercial cleaning proposal page shows what a custodial buyer expects to see in it.

FindRFP against other ways to find cleaning bids

Prices come from each vendor's own page or from our earlier pricing reviews, read in October 2026.

Where Janitorial fits next to FindRFP

FindRFP is the cheaper tool if all you want is a daily list of public notices, and we would not tell a two-person company bidding only school and city work to pay more than that. Janitorial does a different job. It brings a cleaning company the requests that buyers post in its service area, from offices, clinics, schools, retail sites and property managers, each one with labor hours, crew size and a monthly price range already calculated.

  • You see the job and the price together, so you decide in a minute whether a walkthrough is worth it.
  • Growth adds the public-sector feed of city, county, school district, state and federal custodial requests matched to your areas.
  • A proposal goes out from the same screen, as a PDF with your logo, the evening the request arrives.
  • Plans are flat monthly or yearly prices with no per-lead fee. Starter is 79 USD a month, Growth 199 USD and Pro 499 USD, and yearly billing halves those prices.

Many companies run both: FindRFP as a cheap safety net for distant public notices, Janitorial for priced private and local public requests. See every plan on the pricing page, or start with government cleaning contracts to see what the public feed covers.

FindRFP pricing, common questions

Is FindRFP legit?

Yes. FindRFP has run its government bid search and notification service since 1995, publishes its prices and its cancellation and refund terms, and lets you cancel online. The main thing to know before you sign up is that the one-week trial needs a card and converts to a paid plan automatically if you do not cancel.

How much is FindRFP per month?

The Regional plan is 19.95 USD a month for up to four states and the National plan is 29.95 USD a month for all states and Canada. Annual billing lowers the cost to 199.50 USD and 299.50 USD a year, which works out to about 16.63 USD and 24.96 USD a month.

Can I cancel FindRFP and get a refund?

You can cancel at any time online, under My Account and Account Profile. FindRFP does not give a partial refund for the rest of a paid term, so cancel before a renewal date, and cancel inside the trial week if you do not want the first charge.

Does FindRFP include federal bids?

Yes. Both plans include federal, state and local notices for the states you choose. Federal custodial solicitations are also posted on SAM.gov at no charge, so FindRFP mainly saves time on the state, county, city and school bids that are spread across hundreds of separate websites.

What is a better alternative to FindRFP for cleaning companies?

For public bids alone, FindRFP is already among the cheapest options. If you also want private office, medical and retail accounts, or want every request to arrive with a bid price, Janitorial lists priced cleaning requests in your area from 79 USD a month, with public-sector requests on Growth.
