Periscope S2G pricing in short
We read the Periscope S2G pricing page in October 2026. Unlike most bid services, it publishes its prices, so the numbers below are the vendor's own.
- Four plans: Limited at no charge, and Premium State, Premium Regional and Premium National.
- Premium prices are quoted per month but billed annually upfront. The page also offers monthly and six-month terms, with the yearly term discounted by up to 25 percent and six months by up to 20 percent, which means paying month to month costs more than 779 USD.
- Every plan includes daily bid notification emails and the S2G mobile app.
- Federal, Military and Canada coverage are separate Premium add-ons with no published price.
- Periscope S2G is the bid side of Periscope Holdings, which its site says is now part of SOVRA. BidSync, an older bid site, now redirects to it, so older lists that name both are counting one product.
- There is no time-limited trial of Premium. The Limited plan is what you try.

How much does Periscope S2G cost?
Periscope S2G Premium costs 779 USD a month for one state, 911 USD for a region and 1,571 USD nationwide, billed annually upfront, so 9,348 to 18,852 USD a year. The Limited plan has no charge but covers only agencies in the Periscope network. Federal, military and Canada add-ons are priced separately on request.
Is the Periscope S2G Limited plan enough for a cleaning company?
For most janitorial companies, no. The Limited plan shows bids from agencies that buy through Periscope's own procurement software, and the vendor's pricing page puts that at about 2 percent of the bids Premium covers. If one of those agencies is your county or your school district, the Limited plan is useful and costs nothing, so register anyway. Just do not treat an empty Limited feed as proof that your state has no custodial work.
A quick test before you pay: list the ten public buyers you would most like to clean for, such as your county, city, the two biggest school districts and the nearest state university. Then check which of them post on their own portal, on the state portal or on SAM.gov. If most of them post on portals that you can watch directly, a Premium subscription mostly repackages notices you already see.
What Periscope S2G costs per contract you win
A public custodial contract can cover a year of Premium State on its own. A 40,000 sq ft county office building cleaned five nights a week bills several thousand dollars a month. What matters is how many bids your company can prepare and win.
| Public bids submitted per year | Planning win rate | Contracts won | Premium State cost per win (9,348 USD) | Premium National cost per win (18,852 USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | 1 in 10 | 0 to 1 | 9,348 USD or more | 18,852 USD or more |
| 12 | 1 in 8 | 1 to 2 | 4,674 to 9,348 USD | 9,426 to 18,852 USD |
| 24 | 1 in 6 | 4 | about 2,340 USD | about 4,710 USD |
| 48 | 1 in 5 | 9 to 10 | about 980 USD | about 1,980 USD |
The win rates are planning assumptions for a company new to public work, not Periscope data. A public custodial proposal takes 10 to 40 hours of walkthroughs, wage math, staffing plans and forms, so most cleaning companies run out of estimator time long before they run out of bids to read.
Is Periscope S2G worth it for a cleaning company?
Periscope S2G Premium is worth it for a cleaning company that submits at least two public custodial bids a month in the state it buys. Below that volume, the same notices cost less on FindRFP or BidNet Direct, and federal work is on SAM.gov at no charge. A company that mostly wants private office and medical accounts gets little from it.
Periscope S2G reviews, what users report
User reviews are thin. When we checked in October 2026, the G2 profile showed 10 reviews averaging 3.4 out of 5. Users like the interface and the daily alerts. The complaints are about relevance and support: one reviewer wrote that for every relevant notice they received dozens of unrelated ones, and others mention slow customer service.
That pattern matters for a cleaning company. Custodial notices are filed under janitorial, custodial, building maintenance, facility services and floor care, and a keyword profile that is too wide floods the inbox with HVAC, landscaping and pest control bids. Set the keywords with the support team in the first week, and keep the commodity codes narrow. If you sign the yearly term, put the renewal date in your calendar the same day.
Periscope S2G against other ways to find cleaning bids
Prices come from each vendor's own page or from our earlier pricing reviews, read in October 2026.
| Source | What it covers | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Periscope S2G | Public agency bids, strongest where agencies use Periscope software | Limited no charge; Premium 779 to 1,571 USD a month, billed yearly | Companies that bid public custodial work monthly in one state or region |
| BidNet Direct | State and local bids from member agencies and others | Basic tier at no cost, paid plans from about 100 USD a month for one state | Companies that bid in one or two states |
| FindRFP | Federal, state and local bids in all industries | 19.95 USD a month regional, 29.95 USD national | Small companies watching public bids on a tight budget |
| BidPrime | Federal, state and local bid alerts with search inside bid documents | Quoted, reported about 399 to 3,000 USD a year | Companies that want alerts in several states |
| GovSpend | Agency purchase orders and bids, with incumbent pricing | Quoted, reported median about 11,600 USD a year | Companies that price against the incumbent |
| SAM.gov | Every federal solicitation, including custodial work under NAICS 561720 | No cost | Every company that wants federal work |
| Janitorial | Cleaning requests from buildings in your area, each priced, plus public-sector requests on Growth | Starter 79 USD a month, Growth 199 USD a month | Companies that want private accounts and local public bids, priced and ready to propose |
Each one has its own breakdown: FindRFP pricing, BidNet Direct pricing, BidPrime pricing, GovSpend pricing and GovWin pricing. The full comparison is in our guide to commercial cleaning bidding websites. For federal custodial work specifically, you can search federal contract opportunities by NAICS code and agency without buying a state bid service.
Where Janitorial fits next to Periscope S2G
Periscope S2G reads public bids for you. Janitorial brings a cleaning company the requests that buyers post in its service area, from offices, clinics, schools, retail sites and property managers, each one with labor hours, crew size and a monthly price range already calculated.
- You see the job and the price together, so you decide in a minute whether a walkthrough is worth it.
- Growth adds the public-sector feed of city, county, school district, state and federal custodial requests matched to your areas.
- A proposal goes out from the same screen, as a PDF with your logo, the evening the request arrives.
- Plans are flat monthly or yearly prices with no per-lead fee. Starter is 79 USD a month, Growth 199 USD and Pro 499 USD, and yearly billing halves those prices.
A year of Growth billed yearly is 1,188 USD, about an eighth of Periscope Premium State. See every plan on the pricing page, or start with government cleaning contracts to see what the public feed covers.
Periscope S2G pricing, common questions
Is Periscope S2G free?
Partly. The S2G Limited plan has no charge and lets you view and respond to bids from agencies in the Periscope Agency Network, which the vendor puts at about 2 percent of Premium coverage. Full state, regional or national coverage needs a Premium plan from 779 USD a month, billed annually.
How much is Periscope S2G per month?
Premium State is listed at 779 USD a month, Premium Regional at 911 USD and Premium National at 1,571 USD, all billed annually upfront. Monthly and six-month terms are offered too, but the yearly term carries the biggest discount, up to 25 percent, so paying month to month costs more.
Is Periscope S2G the same as BidSync?
Yes, in practice. BidSync now redirects to Periscope S2G, and Periscope Holdings runs both the bid notification service and the procurement software many agencies use. If an older guide lists BidSync and Periscope S2G separately, it is counting one product.
Does Periscope S2G include federal bids?
Not in the base Premium plans. Federal, Military and Canada coverage are add-ons with no published price. Federal custodial solicitations are posted on SAM.gov at no charge, so most cleaning companies watch SAM.gov directly instead of paying for the add-on.
What is a cheaper alternative to Periscope S2G for cleaning companies?
FindRFP costs 19.95 USD a month for up to four states, BidNet Direct starts near 100 USD a month for one state and SAM.gov is free for federal work. If you also want private commercial accounts, Janitorial lists priced cleaning requests in your area from 79 USD a month.
